Tokens vs grades: real time student engagement, assessment and gamification

Student engagement and assessment efficiency can be significantly increased by applying modern technologies in education. Traditional grading process is depreciating, as the new methods of learning and student interaction emerge. We find that tokenization substantially improves student engagement and assessment process. Tokens are essentially points assigned by AI powered bots in real-time reflecting various aspects of student engagement in the study process, such as participation in team sessions, peer-to-peer learning, interactions with teachers, problem solving, etc. Students get motivated by token-mining, which significantly improves their involvement in the study process and allows educators more comprehensively assess the quality of education.
